Biography

Laurie Ford, a Senior Fellow for the US Nuclear Industry Council, has a PhD in Operations Research Engineering, MS in Industrial Engineering, and BA in Psychology. She is now retired from her a 35-plus year career as an organization change-management consultant, having worked with the US Department of Energy’s Military Applications, Oak Ridge operations, and other government, manufacturing, and business organizations. She is co-author of an award-winning book, “The Four Conversations” on improving teamwork and productivity by using everyday communication more effectively. Laurie is now working on management tools and practices that make life easier for practicing managers.
