Biography

Emilio Garcia joined ENRESA, the Spanish National Agency for RWM and decommissioning in 1993. Since 1999, he is member of the Department of International Relations, where he coordinates ENRESA’s international activities in the fields of LILW and decommissioning and is also responsible for the management of ENRESA’s international collaboration agreements with sister organisations. Long run involved in the IAEA’s programmes for RWM and decommissioning, he is National Representative for the International Radioactive Waste Technical Committee (WATEC) and member of the Steering Group of the International Decommissioning Network (IDN) and also for several related Expert Groups under the auspices of the European Commission and the Nuclear Energy Agency.
