Biography

Mr. Etienne Hocquard is Createc’s Head of Robotics. He’s responsible for the technical and scientific leadership of Createc’s Robotics R&D. Etienne Hocquard has an MSc in Computer Science Optimisation from University of Nantes. His recent appointment to Head of Robotics for Createc follows 5 years of experience as a Research Engineer in robotics. He has been involved in several collaborative project with research and industrial partners, including the Createc led ‘Elephants to Ants’ IIND project. He successfully developed a welding mobile robot for the shipyard industry in close collaboration with welder operators. His skills range from software development and integration, electronic and mechanical design, robotics remote operations.
