Biography

With 45+ years of experience in the DOE/NNSA performing roles ranging from Process Engineer to Vice President for Government Operations for DOE/NNSA prime contractors and as a subcontractor to DOE/NNSA prime contractors, Mr. Shirley has worked at Oak Ridge, Portsmouth/Paducah, Fernald, Rocky Flats, Los Alamos, Hanford, Pantex and Savannah River Site. In addition, he has extensive experience with various Army Corps of Engineer Districts FUSRAP and FUDS sites. Mr. Shirley joined Day & Zimmermann M&C as Vice President for Government Operations in July 2021. He has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and a MBA.
