Biography

Patrick Aikens (PMP), is the Facilities Decommissioning, Program Execution Manager at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) in Chalk River, Canada. He is responsible for managing a portfolio of major projects with the Environmental Remediation Management team tasked with completing the largest environmental clean-up project in Canadian history. The main focus of his team is to make, “Canada Safer, Sooner” by reducing nuclear liabilities while also developing the skills and capabilities of CNL’s workforce to be a leader on the global decommissioning market. Patrick’s specialized expertise is in high hazard nuclear liability reduction and pioneering nuclear decommissioning projects in Canada.
