Biography

I am a PhD student at the University of Sheffield working on applications of cosmic ray muon tomography in the nuclear industry. My current research covers the use of muon scattering tomography to identify materials inside sealed waste drums, as well as muon radiography of waste processing facilities and long-term repositories for safeguarding purposes. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 with an MSci in Theoretical Astrophysics; my Masters research was focused on dark matter direct detection simulation studies.
