Biography

Jy-An John Wang is Distinguished R&D staff of Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He has been working at ORNL since 1989 on researches related to reactor pressure vessel integrity, radiation damage evaluation, and material characterization; he has over 150 technical publications. He received a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in the fields of Mechanics of Materials and Structural Dynamics. He is a member of ASTM and ASME. He has been working the last four years on the spent nuclear fuel vibration integrity investigation which is the subject of this presentation.
