Biography

Larry Beets, Vice President of Operations of AVANTech Inc., is in charge of the Nuclear Support Division, which includes the design, fabrication, and operation of the nuclear systems and services offered by AVANTech Inc. Mr. Beets has over 30 years experience in nuclear power with the last 25 years of experience in the commercial nuclear industry. He was the lead engineer and designer of the AVANTech Solid Collection Filter (SCF™) / Radwaste Reverse Osmosis (RWRO™) System installed at Davis Besse. Since 1992, Mr. Beets has designed or supervised the design and installation of fourteen (14) RO Units in NPP’s including 9 of the patented RWRO™ Systems.
