Biography

Neel Mehta is a licensed process engineer with Studsvik Inc., supporting development of alternative nuclear waste treatment technologies. He has served as a test engineer for the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit’s pilot plant test program, supporting both on-site operations and analysis of test data. Prior to his work with Studsvik, Neel worked on the Uranium Processing Facility project at the Y-12 National Security Complex. Over seven years he worked in several roles, including modeling and simulation lead for highly enriched uranium casting operations, and system lead for leaching operations for uranium removal from inorganic residues.
