Biography

Dr. Tauxe has worked in the field of radioactive waste as an environmental modeler since 1990, and has lived in Los Alamos, New Mexico, since 1998. John earned a BA degree in Earth Science from Wesleyan University and MS and PhD Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. He is a licensed professional engineer in New Mexico. His current specialization is in probabilistic radiological performance assessment modeling, and he has worked closely with NRC, DOE, state governments, and private entities in that capacity since 1994. John started Tauxian Solutions in July 2021.
