Biography

Dr. Kalee Fenker is a research scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory. Her research focuses on both destructive and non-destructive analyses of radioactive material for the diverse missions at the Savannah River Site. As part of the Nuclear Measurements group she assists in the radioanalytical characterization of samples with diverse chemical and radioactive compositions from across SRS. The SRNL nuclear measurements group provides analyses, specifically tailored to the customer’s needs, for over 75 different radionuclides. Prior to SRNL, she completed her PhD in nuclear chemistry at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University where she studied heavy-ion reactions.
