Biography

Nicholas Machara works in the Department of Energy’s Office of Environmental Management in Germantown, Maryland. He currently is a technical program manager in the area of tank waste in EM’s Office of Technology Operations, and has spent most of his career at headquarters associated with the cleanup technology development and tank waste treatment. Before coming to headquarters, has also worked at Rocky Flats, the Environmental Measurements Laboratory in New York, the Los Alamos National Lab and the Oak Ridge National Lab.
