Carson McNair was born and raised in Idaho. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Physics and Chemistry and is currently pursuing a Masters and PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He has 6 years of experience in petroleum and natural gas industry with a focus on solid, liquid, and TENORM waste treatment and disposal methods as well as being with the Idaho National Laboratories Analytical Chemistry Lab for 6 years. At the analytical lab, he is the Hot Cell, Dissolutions, and Separations lead and coordinator as well as aids the lab in their preparation and disposal of TRU waste.
