Biography

As a Nuclear/Radioactive Waste Specialist for the Australian Radioactive Waste Agency, I am responsible for the development of the Waste Acceptance Criteria for the National Radioactive Waste Management Facility and the development of the Common National Inventory for Radioactive Waste, the first national inventory of radioactive waste for Australia. I also provide support to ARWA on various topics including the transport of radioactive material, nuclear security and regulatory engagement. Prior to working for ARWA, I spent 12 years working for ANSTO in radioactive waste and decommissioning. I was the manager of the shutdown HIFAR research reactor and specialised in managing high risks projects relating to legacy nuclear materials and ILW.
