Biography

Matt graduated with a masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Manchester in 2013. He went on to work for the National Nuclear Laboratory in the UK for four years before going on study a PhD at the University of Leeds. His research project looks to establish a process by which wet stored and corroded Magnox fuel can be dried to allow transfer into dry storage to prevent further corrosion prior to disposal in a geological facility.
