Biography

Ms. Mykolaichuk is the Director of the Division of Nuclear Fuel Cycle and Waste Technology of the Department of Nuclear Energy, IAEA. She is a leading expert on waste and remediation and worked in various positions in SSE Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), NPP Operational Support Institute, State Nuclear Regulatory Committee / Inspectorate of Ukraine (including serving as the Chairperson for 9+ years), EC Delegation to Ukraine and Belarus. Previously for IAEA she was the Section Head, Decommissioning and Environmental Remediation in the Department of Nuclear Energy. She holds a Masters Degree in Chemical Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (graduated in 1987).
