Biography

David Fox received his B.S. degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Central Florida in 2016. He is currently a PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of Central Florida working under Dr. Zhai. Before his time at UCF, David worked at the Invasive Plant Research Lab, a research station part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. His research focus is on nanocomposite fabrication, surface engineering, and nano-architectured material for energy applications. His expertise is in thin film and composite characterization using with X-Ray spectroscopy and force microscopy.
