Biography

Gene Sievers serves as the site manager for the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he oversees daily operations to sustain a safe, secure and effective nuclear deterrent. Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC is the M&O contractor for the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, and Y-12. Sievers began his Y-12 career in nuclear safety operations in 2013, providing oversight for disciplined operations. He provided leadership for the Y-12 Protective Force leading the organization through contract transition and a successful Enterprise Assessment Inspection. He has also been the deputy Y-12 site manager, providing leadership for day-to-day operations before becoming senior director of Environment, Safety & Health.
