Biography

Graciela García-Torres is the director of Multilingual Educational Services and CA Region 3 Title III lead at the Sacramento County Office of Education. She has been instrumental in developing programs for multilingual services, Long-Term English Learner courses, and dual language programs. Her personal experience as a migrant student enhances her understanding of English learners' needs. Her extensive background in multilingual education and policy implementation and her relational capacity with her region’s districts make her an invaluable asset to the project team.
