Biography

Dr. Amit Kumar started his journey with Abu Dhabi University (ADU) as an Assistant Professor- Management for the College of Business. Prior to joining ADU, he worked at the University of Newcastle, Australia as Lecturer in Management. He received his Ph. D degree in Sustainable Business Management from the University of Newcastle, Australia (#129 globally) in 2021. His work is published in leading journals, including Social Responsibility Journal, Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal, Journal of Global Information Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, Journal of Construction Engineering and Management. He has a rich research career, with almost 27 scholarly papers. He has developed a good understanding of how firms collaborate (with others - including competing firms) to achieve corporate social responsibility, sustainability and the objectives of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
