Biography

Senior Research Scientist at Savannah River National Laboratory within the Glass, Cement, and Ceramic Sciences Group. 10+ years of hands-on technical experience. Technical experience is primarily in cementitious waste form processing and development as well as tank closure grouts. Currently the technical lead for the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure conducted semiannually for the Saltstone Production Facility at Savannah River Site to ensure the Saltstone Disposal Facility meets the South Carolina Code of Regulations for Hazardous Waste Management. In addition, supports/leads several other site-specific research projects across the DOE complex including but not limited to the Hanford Site, and the Oak Ridge Reservation.
