Biography

Carmen is a member of Hatch Advisory, the management consulting practice within Hatch, with experience in the mining, infrastructure and energy industries. Her experience includes many due diligence engagements, catastrophic risk management, and financial modelling. Carmen has led the development of business cases for the acquisition of numerous assets across the Americas. She has led cost and production projection modelling, as well as analyzed and benchmarked costs to assist clients in assessing investment opportunities. Carmen’s experience extends to risk assessments on the execution of the construction and commissioning phases of large-scale projects, as well as developing commodities benchmarks for the mining industry, that serve as basis for operational gap analysis for multiple clients. Most recently, Carmen was involved in the development of a roadmap and execution plan to mature tailings management practices for a client.
