As a Consulting Partner for TNTP, Dr. Reyna Sotelo oversees projects across Texas to ensure equitable educational opportunities for students. She currently leads TNTP’s partnerships with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) including the Effective Schools Framework and School Action Fund initiatives, as well as leadership development and instructional coaching support in Ector County ISD. Prior to her time at TNTP, Reyna serviced as an Executive Director in Dallas ISD, where she led a portfolio of 10 campuses to improve instruction and school culture. She previously served as a Principal in Dallas ISD, where she led a regional & district AVID Elementary Model Campus and was a candidate for Dallas ISD Principal of the Year for two years in a row. Reyna brings extensive experience with instructional coaching and leadership development, including Paul Bambrick-Santoyo’s Get Better Faster coaching model. She received her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction as well as her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University – Commerce, and she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Texas.
