Biography

I am a residency and fellowship trained, board certified optometrist trained with an emphasis in ocular disease and vision rehabilitation. I currently specialize in clinical care of patients with complex glaucoma, dry eye, and post-operative care. I am actively involved in co-management with ophthalmology and work in a hospital-based setting. I also have been involved in research in dry eye, glaucoma, such as the OHTS (Ocular Hypertension Treatment Study), and the impact of aging on the eye. My publications have been featured in high impact ophthalmology journals. I am active in optometric organizations at the national level by serving in leadership positions. In addition, I am active in education of residents and fellows at my local hospital but have also been involved in education of optometrists nationwide to prepare for board review exams.
