Biography

Since 2022, Joseph Kent has served as Director of Curation and Exhibits for the Atomic Museum. Prior to this, Kent served as Director of Education for the Atomic Museum for 6 years. In his current role, he manages the museum’s artifact collection, oversees development of its exhibits, and supervises a team of curatorial interns. With a passion for museums and educating the public, Kent shares the critical work that took place, and continues to take place, at the Nevada National Security Sites, formerly the Nevada Test Site. Kent plays a key role in the museum’s efforts to preserve the history of the site, its workers, and those impacted by nuclear testing.
