Biography

Dan Ogg is the Executive Director of the U.S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board, which is tasked with independent oversight of Department of Energy activities to manage spent nuclear fuel and high level radioactive waste. Early in his career, Dan served in the U.S. Navy, aboard a nuclear-powered submarine. Prior to joining the Board, Dan worked for 23 years at the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, providing safety oversight at Department of Energy nuclear facilities across the country. Dan holds a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
