Dr. Shuller-Nickles is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences at Clemson University and serves as the faculty coordinator for Clemson’s Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences undergraduate minor. Dr. Shuller-Nickles utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to solving complex environmental and radiochemical challenges plaguing the fields of nuclear waste management, nuclear materials security (i.e., forensics, nonproliferation and safeguards), environmental mineralogy, and energy materials. In addition to traditional research and teaching, Dr. Shuller-Nickles is committed to education and outreach activities at Clemson University (e.g., through Clemson’s PEER/WISE office) and in her community (e.g., as a Girl Scout troop leader).
