Biography

Furkan Erdogan is a nuclear engineer and materials science researcher specializing in corrosion studies in molten salt environments, radiation shielding, occupational safety for radiation workers, and radioactive materials management. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Logistics Management, as well as master’s degrees in Occupational Health and Safety, and Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. Currently pursuing a PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University, Furkan is dedicated to advancing innovation and safety in nuclear and materials science. His multidisciplinary expertise highlights a strong commitment to addressing complex engineering challenges with a focus on safety and sustainability.
