Biography

Mr. Fortenberry is the Chief Nuclear Officer for UCOR. Starting at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory with GE, and moving into commercial power with Entergy, he gained expertise in nuclear engineering, safety analysis, and reactor operations. He served as Technical Director for the DNFSB, then joined Parsons to provide technical services and direct engineering activities at DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory. Mr. Fortenberry is now with Amentum where he served as Chief Engineer for the BWCS DUF6 Project at Portsmouth and Paducah, and for the SRR High-Level Liquid Waste Project at SRS before joining UCOR.
