Biography

Rob Hastings is the Vice President of Richland Operations and has been with AVANTech since January 2022. Prior to joining AVANTech, Rob had over 35 years of experience working for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Hanford site contractors providing leadership, managing major contracts, and delivering innovative solutions to safely and efficiently clean up the Hanford site. While with the DOE, Rob served in several technical and leadership positions including the Assistant Manager for Environment, Safety, Health a Quality and also the Assistant Manager for Tank Farms for DOE’s Office of River Protection. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington.
