Allyson Ferry graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a degree in chemical engineering, and from North Carolina University in 2022 with a Master's degree in environmental engineering. She has been working at the Idaho National Laboratory as a process engineer on the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit project for the past seven years. Her work has included helping to solve operational issues in the plant’s fluidized bed reactor and process gas filter, overseeing activities and testing at the pilot plant, troubleshooting process issues, and acting as lead system engineer over the process vessels.
