Dr. Clifford Jaylen Louime is an Associate Professor at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) College of Natural Sciences in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Before joining UPR, Dr. Louime was an Assistant Professor at Florida A&M University. He co-founded the FAMU BioEnergy Group, whose role was to advise lawmakers and stakeholders on sustainable energy solutions for Florida. His team initiated some ground-breaking work on algal biofuels for which a US patent was granted. Constantly at the forefront of strategic development in education and research, Dr. Louime was selected as the University’s first and only fellow of the World’s Famous Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
