Dr. Lee has diverse research and training experiences in applying the state-of-the-art molecular techniques to microbial genomics and transcriptomics studies. He developed an in silico model to predict the toxicity of organophosphate compounds (Marimuthu et al., 2018). He also developed a functional gene array, “the PathoChip” to detect and identify functional genes using a microarray-based technology (Lee et al., 2013). He is currently working on Microbial Forensics funded by Department of Justice (DOJ) and soil microbiome funded by Department of Energy (DOE).
