Biography

I am a graduate student at Georgia State University, pursuing a Master of Science in Geosciences with a concentration in Geology. I hold BSc in Geological Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Ghana. My research focuses on quantifying and capturing fugitive methane emissions from waste processing facilities. I pay particular attention to using real-time in situ wireless measurement sensors test beds to monitor emissions over time, focusing on calculating methane fluxes and understanding methane generation dynamics. Furthermore, I study the efficacy of alternative soil cover amendments—compost, biochar, and alum, in reducing methane emissions.
