Biography

Dr. Diprete received his doctorate in nuclear chemistry from the University of Kentucky in 1994 and has served as the technical lead for the radiochemistry team in SRNL’s Nuclear Measurement Group ever since. He is currently a Senior Advisory Scientist and is a SRNL Laboratory Fellow. He has played a significant technical and leadership role at SRNL, serving and supporting DOE’s environmental management missions as well as other federal entities. Dr. DiPrete’s work scope encompasses most of the radiological programs at SRS. He also supports nuclear measurement technology development to address shortfalls identified in various US Government Agency Calls.
