Biography

Donald Chicas has received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and is continuing to pursue a master's degree in mechanical engineering at UNLV. As an active researcher in the Environmental and Energy Materials Laboratory (EEML), he is focusing on the characterization of lignocellulosic biomass and assessing the mechanical compability of biochar in permeable reactive barriers (PRB).
