Savannah River National Laboratory
Dr. Michael Poirier is a Senior Fellow Engineer at the Savannah River National Laboratory. He has 28 years of experience investigating, developing, and improving waste treatment processes at the Savannah River Site and Hanford. The SRS work includes support for the Effluent Treatment Facility, the DWPF, the ARP/MCU, the SWPF, and the Tank Farms. The Hanford work includes support for the WTP and the Tank Farms. Dr. Poirier received a B. S. in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph. D. in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
