Biography

Joni Tallbull joined the LM-21 UMTRCA/NVOS team, as a Site Manager. She grew up in Fort Defiance, Arizona. She received a BA in Physics with an emphasis in Chemistry from Occidental College. Tallbull manages multiple LM sites and projects. Prior to LM, Tallbull worked for 2 years as an Environmental Technician at Dine College – a tribal institute. She then worked for Navajo Nation Abandoned Mine Lands Reclamation Department (NAMLRD) for 8 years, as a Senior Environmental Specialist for the Navajo Tribal Government.
