Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Baptiste Dafflon is a Staff Scientist in the Earth & Environmental Sciences Area at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkeley Lab). He received his MS from ETH Zurich, and his PhD from University of Lausanne, before joining Berkeley Lab in 2010. His research focuses on improving the predictive understanding of complex environmental systems, with a particular emphasis on developing characterization and monitoring techniques to improve the quantification and prediction of hydro-thermal processes in the subsurface. He is an institutional lead of the DOE funded NGEE-Arctic project and he is part of the DOE’s Advanced Long-term Environmental Monitoring Systems (ALTEMIS) project.
