Biography

I am specializing in applied research utilizing ion beams and neutrons at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), as well as radiation detection and its applications. I have a Diploma degree in physics from the Technical University in Darmstadt, Germany and a Ph.D. in physics from the Goethe University, Frankfurt a.M., Germany. I have been working at LBNL since 2000 and am a physicist staff scientist in the Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics division.
