Biography

Dr. Hadi Hamid is Assistant Vice President of Industrial Related Technologies and Workforce at Denmark Technical College, a two-year Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the State of South Carolina with residence halls for students. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering and a PhD in Leadership. He has vast industry experience including owning and operating an automation and machine design company. He has three US patents and has designed several equipment for apparel, plastic, automotive, and furniture industries. He is passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals, developing quality workforce, and creating equitable opportunities for all stakeholders.
