Biography

Aherial Polite is the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Augusta Technical College in Augusta, GA. With a background in Chemistry, she has served as department chair, chemistry instructor, and nuclear program advisor. Aherial, holding a BS in Chemistry and MAT from the University of SC, is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Leadership from Valdosta State University. Actively involved in professional organizations, she is a board member of CNTA and the Savannah River Section of the ANS. She’s also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., ACS, NAACP, SCTEA, and NOBCChE, and has received several awards.
