Ms Dyrcz is finishing her PhD at CERN, Switzerland. Her PhD focuses on the establishment of a new radiological characterization method to define an elimination pathway for the low and intermediate waste produced at CERN. Ms Dyrcz has a Master degree from Krakow University, where she contributed to the characterization of a sensor for personal dosimeters. Ms Dyrcz has extensive experience in FLUKA and ActiWiz simulations for the estimation of radionuclide inventories and performing radiation dose studies. She is also a key contributor to the establishment of a novel gamma spectrometry technique for sample counting and radioactive waste characterization.
