Biography

Jen is an accredited Radiation Protection Adviser with over 25 years’ experience in the nuclear industry. She is a Chartered Radiation Protection Professional, the Jacobs Radiometrics Lead and appointed Qualified Person for radiation instrumentation. Jen’s experience includes low, medium and high-resolution gamma spectrometry, expert peer review of a feasibility study for large-area beach/seabed monitoring, production of instrument technical specifications, development of an underwater MRGS system and the radiation and environmental monitoring system for ITER, concept design for FED retrieval/assay, concept design for HA/MA cell assay instrumentation, and design of a LRGS system for detection of radium contamination in spoil.
