Biography

Mr. Niemoller started his career at GE-Nuclear, first creating computer models for radiation decay, then working plant outages and modifications. He started at Orano, which was then AREVA, 12 years ago designing HVAC systems for the design certification of AREVA’s gen III+ reactor, the EPR, then as the supervisor of the design of steelwork platforms of AREVA’s new nuclear plant in Finland. He has been a lead engineer for human factors engineering and a manager of commissioning of mechanical systems at a nuclear plant in China. This diverse background has prepared Mr. Niemoller well for his current role, as Orano’s Research Manager, focusing mostly on environmental and back-end work.
