Biography

Connor Nicholson is a senior engineer at Savannah River National Laboratory currently investigating a number of new D&D technologies including incombustible fixative platforms for immobilization of residual radioactive contamination after decontamination efforts have concluded and electrostatic precipitators for decontamination of airborne contaminants. These efforts have resulted in three ASTM standards to help better govern the expected performance of these platforms in safety basis considerations during decommissioning operations.
