Biography

I worked for 10 years in the fission industry on 3 Gen III+ fission reactor designs, the Areva EPR, the Toshiba ABWR, and the Westinghouse AP1000. I spent 5 years at the ITER Organisation working with domestic agencies and IO system teams to design operable fusion systems with a focus on the integration of control systems. In 2019, I was hired at Commonwealth Fusion Systems out of MIT to work on the SPARC project as the Head of Systems Engineering and Design Integration. I am currently the Technical Lead for Fusion Energy Systems in the IAEA Nuclear Energy department, Nuclear Power Technology Development Section.
