Biography

Ms. Tiina Jalonen, M. Sc in Process Engineering, has worked at Posiva since 2001. In 2013, she was appointed as the Director of Development Department. She has been widely engaged in Posiva's final disposal programme. Her responsibilities include development, qualification, and requirement and configuration management of the disposal system, the rock suitability criteria, monitoring of Olkiluoto, site investigations and the safety case for the Operation License Application. She is a member of Steering Group of Posiva, the Chair of the Joint Steering Group for the Posiva - SKB co-operation since 2013, and the representative of Waste Management Organizations of Finland in EURAD programme since 2019.
