Biography

Tara Armstead is the Environmental Management Operations Nuclear Materials Program Manager for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. In her current role, she helps develop long term plans for Environmental Management Operations to meet DOE’s strategic goals. Tara, in addition to having her PMP, has a bachelors in Chemical Engineering and a masters in Nuclear Engineering. Her interest include spent nuclear fuel processing, separations, waste management, and back end of the fuel cycle technologies.
