Biography

Sellafield Ltd currently employs Julio Vazquez as a Senior Technical Advisor. He was a post-graduate researcher at Leeds University until 2023 and former recipient of the Roy G. Post Foundation Scholarship in 2021. The voloxidation of spent nuclear fuel from light water reactors was the subject of his study. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University - Kingsville in 2013, later he studied for a masters in material science and engineering at Leeds University in 2016.
